In 2019, the MOROCCO FOODEX laboratories (EACCE) are the first at national level to be accredited by COFRAC after having passed the evaluation audits according to the ISO 17025 standard version 2017. The renewal and extension of the scope of the accreditation involved in particular, the laboratories of Casablanca, Meknes, Agadir, Berkane, Marrakech and Larache.
COFRAC is the French committee accreditation body created in 1994, as an accreditation body for certification bodies for “quality systems, people, industry, agriculture, food and services”, inspection bodies, calibration, testing and analysis laboratories, and verifiers for the application of European regulations concerning the environment.
In 2018, the Casablanca laboratory officially obtained the approval of the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC) for the physico-chemical analysis of olive oils.
In 2018, the renewal of the certification ISO 9001 version 2015.
In 2011, the MOROCCO FOODEX sensory analysis panel (EACCE) for olive oils officially received approval from the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC). This was the first international recognition of a panel at the level of Morocco.
In 2011, the Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) under the European Commission concluded that the provisions put in place for the official control of pesticide residues comply with the legal limits set by the European Union.
MOROCCO FOODEX has about twenty regional representations and five international representations spread over the different production and export zones, in order to guarantee a local service to professionals in the Agri-food and maritime products sector.
